10baggerbamm OP : as a second follow-up the secretary says that they do not anticipate any supply chain shock.
I listen to the Head of shipping ports in California this morning speak. he is saying based off of the loading done to these massive ships that were leaving China they are down capacity only shipping at about 35 to 40% maximum capacity. he says this is based off of the data that they were provided based off of what was loaded onto these vessels headed towards America. that means it's a 60%, ballpark deduction of goods that will be landing in California ports in the coming days and weeks.
you're going to try to tell the American people that a reduction in inventory by 60% is not going to show on the shelves of stores you must think we're really fucking stupid just like the last administration telling us the border is secure. they better stop with the fucking lies that they tell the American people because this is a bold-faced lie if you're going to reduce volume by 60% and try to tell the people in this country that you don't anticipate any supply chain issues you're full of shit. there's no different than if you're pissing on my leg and trying to tell me it's just rain water

Joseph’ : It affects all Industries and everyone! There is a shortage of goods, and the number of ships arriving at ports has significantly decreased. What will truck drivers do? What can supermarkets do when they are out of stock and unable to operate? Trump still wants 2028.

10baggerbamm OP Joseph’ : supermarkets really isn't an issue because you're not shipping perishables from China to the United States it really isn't anything that's a big deal like they tried to make a stink about avocados from Mexico I can go to Aldi's I can get avocados for $0.69 each... they have cases and cases so perishables are not what's coming from China it's the shit on the shelves at Walmart being sold through to Amazon that's what is going to be reduced it's your Auto parts your cheap sensors that are in your auto parts stores that's what's going to be in short supply
