10baggerbamm : what do you think's going to happen when Jensen cuts the outlook for NVIDIA?
you do understand he cannot raise the guidance it's impossible because China represented 14% of total revenue of the whole company just on the GPU sales and that has been eliminated. so if you take a pie and you remove 14%, you're down to 86%. everything that they manufacture right now with regard to Blackwell was presold out on allotment so they don't have the ability to manufacture anymore which means next quarter and the quarter after that and the quarter after that that gap of revenue and earnings is still there. so Jensen's going to have to guide lower and the margins well what he was selling to China was a very high margin neutered GPU compared to what Blackwell is so the company's margins are going to come under further pressure for an extended period of time. if you recall the last conference call Jensen was asked by an analyst during the q&A if Q4 which was announced in February was the worst quarter for margins they were down to 72% and they were going to gradually get better to the goal of 75 by Q4 which is next February or would they remain under pressure and trend down to 71% over the first quarter second quarter and gradually get better in the 3rd and 4th. Jensen avoided this question and that's why the stock dropped literally time and sale right after this avoiding the question during the conference call and that was the high point of the conference call and it just traded straight down ever since. the profit margins for NVIDIA are coming under more pressure this quarter and next quarter and beyond and that's 75% number which was his goal is not going to be realized next February either.  so what's going to happen when Jensen reduces guidance for the first time in years many many years? because I don't see the stock trading up I see it gapping down.

Ah_huat23 : jerome powell will depend on the PCE data and the GDP data to decide whether to cut rate .. if PCE data showing high inflation, can forget about rate cut

Frozenjs : if you read or watch non US press or news, most countries like japan,europe & korea (having presidential election nxt mth) are in no hurry to conclude the unfair trade eal. And nothing much is happening bet US &. China. so trump and bessent are just lying so expect more bad news on the horizon.
